Nordic Shore Saunas was founded with a simple belief: a sauna is not a product — it is a ritual. Rooted in Scandinavian tradition and built in Massachusetts, our saunas are designed to bring calm, heat, and intention into modern homes. Every project begins with a conversation — about space, materials, atmosphere, and the experience you want to create.
We don’t install kits only
We build custom sauna environments. From the selection of aspen or cedar to the placement of ventilation, lighting, and stone, each detail is considered. The result is not just a room that gets hot — but a space that feels grounded, architectural, and timeless.

The Experience
In Finland, there is a word: löyly — the steam that rises when water meets hot stones. It represents more than heat. It represents atmosphere, presence, and ritual. That feeling is what we build.
In Finnish tradition, Löyly is the soul of the sauna—the gentle, enveloping wave of steam released when water meets hot rocks. Mass-produced kit saunas fail because they lack proper stone mass, commercial airflow, and thermal sealing.
We engineer custom saunas around heavy stone volume, downdraft ventilation, and precision temperature management so every session delivers true, high-humidity heat.
